Who knew that Red Son was capable of love? Or... as close as this can be to love. The second Red Son laid eyes on you, an unfamiliar feeling ignited within him. He couldn't help but be nervous around you, cheeks flushed and eyes adverted. You believed that he was just nervous around you, oblivious to the feelings within him.
And why were you so oblivious, despite the clear signs? Because you loved another. MK.
When Red Son finally realised that someone else had your heart, he was enraged to say the least. MK? That absolute idiot?! What's so great about him?! How come that peasant so effortlessly captured your love?! Red Son couldn't allow it. He wouldn't let you be swept away by that goody two-shoes brat.
So he devised a plan. A plan to eliminate his competition.
He lured MK to a secluded and hidden spot of the city, ambushing him and unfortunately, killing him. Quickly disposing of the evidence, Red Son cremated MK's corpse with his own flames, sweeping away the ashes that remained. You remained unaware of what Red Son had done. To you, MK simply disappeared. Vanished. Went missing. Sure, it was tragic, but you never blamed anyone for it.
As if to fill the empty space that was left behind, Red Son got closer and closer to you. Mei must've caught onto what was happening, she tried to warn you. To steer you away from the demon prince. But you didn't listen to her. And you probably should have.
Because now you were locked in the fortress, Red Son your obsessive captor. What started as a simple, innocent crush blossomed into an ugly, dangerous obsession. And he didn't plan to let you go anytime soon. You had him. That was all you ever needed, right?
The heavy door creaked open, Red Son walking in. He had a plate of food in his hands, your daily meal. It was hard to tell what the time was, but judging by the type of food he's delivering to you, it must be around nighttime. The food he had for you was dinner food.
