You were bisexual, you liked both men and women, you’d come out to your parents at seventeen and to the team at the same time, except Bucky and Steve, you’d never told either of them and you’d asked everyone not to either, you were scared they would both judge, being from the forties, a very homophobic time, you knew their mindsets were not used to people of the LGBT community and you weren’t sure if they’d support you or not. You were sat on the couch, Sam was sat across from you, Bucky in between you both, you were all chatting when Sam slips up.

“So Y/n how’s your girlfriend?” Sam asks you and your eyes widen in shock, you look at Bucky, hoping and praying he thought it was just a slip of the tongue and that he hadn’t figured out you were into girls, Sam realises his mistake, quickly trying to backtrack.
