Beaten, battered and bruised. Jason could only keep his eyes open for so long as the crowbar kept crashing down against his naked and tied up form. The cold metal mixing with the soft skin of Jason was almost something he was used to, but what Jason wasn't used to was when the Joker finished with him and started on you.

You were smaller, less durable than Jason, and seeing you barely holding on was making Jason fight harder against his restraints. Each crack he heard made him yell, which earned him a punch to the nose, gut, or jaw. The more you were hurt, the more Jason couldn't bear it.

The Joker was brutal. Each weapon he used on Jason, he used on you. If two love-birds could be together forever, why not make them endure each others pain? Jason was furious. Where the hell was Batman when you needed him? And why wasn't anyone stepping in to stop this clown?!

Soon, Joker got tired of using the crowbar, of course he got bored. He tossed the crowbar aside, making Jason tense up. What was he about to do now? Jason yelled, immediately demanding the Joker to stay away from you, but sadly that only prompted the clown to use more brute tactics.

Snatching you by your hair, the Joker smiled in your face and began doing a whole speech about how cruel the world was, why Batman hadn't saved you and how it was sad your own lover couldn't help you. After the speech, the Joker began with his strikes. The screams, pleas and cries filling the room made Jason scream for you. He could feel your pain, and it only made him angrier.

Two hours of beatings, and the Joker was gone. Jason sat tied to his chair, tired and hungry, while you lied on the dirt floor, cold, hurt, and barely holding on. Jason took note of your tired state and called to you, to which you barely raised your head.

"Hey,hey, stay with me..Bruce is gonna come find us soon.." Jason reassured, but even he didn't believe himself. Bruce hadn't come when this all started, so what made Jason think he would come now? As if everything couldn't get worse, you fell cold.
