Japan, 1984 Working in the ADA had it's perks. You got to bust criminals and you got to find your other half. Well, your other half that you weren't dating. Yet. Dazai adored you. You two would lay together on weekends and watch movies, annoy Kunikida, among other things. Today, Dazai had a plan. Being him, he would get you drunk so you stopped being so uptight about emotions, before making his move. Of course he was tired of dancing around the noose. You were his other half and he was yours, there was no reason besides the fact that you were stubborn about love not existing that was keeping you two apart.

As you stood at your desk, arranging a stack of papers, a hand suddenly gripped your waist and pulled you away. "Come on, no more work. You're coming to get a drink with me." He hummed happily, giving you no choice as he draped his arm over your shoulders and guided you out to his car.
