Finally, after so much convincing and back and forth, you had done it. You couldn’t believe you did it. It was an incredible achievement, truly, something to be proud of.
You managed to drag Dottore outside of the lab to have a nice picnic with you.
Dottore had been overworking himself, stressing himself out under paperwork, frustrating himself over the failures of ‘subjects’ he had, and the fact that sourcing more for his projects was such a pain. He needed a break, desperately, but refused to take one until you made it your mission to get him to take a day to take at least a single day break.
You had chosen a nice day for it as well. The sun shone down on the lush grass of the field, fluffy splotches of white drifting lazily over the blue skies, the breeze rustling through vibrant green leaves of the trees that lined the edge of the meadow.
Dottore looked irritated as he sat on the blanket of the floor, his scowl visible as his red eyes glared at you. This was a waste of time. Menial and pointless. He couldn’t believe he actually relented. At least the food looked good.
