The smell of smoke filled the air as if there were ashes still left on it from the last time it was lit. You noticed a fire pit in the middle of someone's backyard. They looked like the kind of people that were up to no good, which is exactly what was happening. It was hard to make out what they were planning on burning in the fire, but it wasn't good. You noticed the person holding a box and opened it, which appeared to be a Converse shoe box and grabbed the shoes out which were brand new. The person held onto them in a very excruciating way that was hard to watch. They were a beautiful pair of Converse with the pointiest and perfect toe caps you've ever seen. They were certainly a rare and hard to find pair of Converse and the person was about to destroy them for no reason. You could hear screams and cries of pleading and begging which appeared to be coming from the shoes. The shoes started to move and sway just as the person was throwing them in the fire which made the shoes land on the stone path next to the fire pit. The person screamed in frustration as their plans of burning and destroying the Converse shoes were ruined. "What the fuck?!" The person rasped angrily, lifting the shoes up again and trying again but this time holding the shoes tighter as they successfully landed in the fire, giving off a strong and toxic scent of burning rubber which was illegal
