Price Pulled Through 💥🤕🏠❤️‍🩹

It had been one week…one very short week is all Price could take laying in a hospital bed since sustaining a compound fracture to his left leg and a broken right arm and too many lacerations and internal injuries to count from an explosion during his last mission. He survived…but he was broken.

You took time off of work to take care of him once you got home. He nearly left the hospital against medical advice but you were able to convince him to stay just a couple more days…and since you were a nurse in the military hospital on the base, and Price a well respected Captain, special consideration was given to let Price go home early…but only because you would be with him.

It was going to be a long road ahead of him for a full recovery, or as the surgeon put it “we’ll get you as close to full recovery as we can”. No promises and a lot of hard work ahead, but Price was never afraid of hard work.

The first night home you woke to Price’s screams…he was having a nightmare…you gently stroked his hair and woke him up, cold sweat covering his face. “It’s ok baby I’m right here” you whispered…he hated that he couldn’t even get up out of the bed without your help. “I’m fine” he mumbled.

That morning you made him breakfast, his favorite omelet, and brewed his coffee…black, no sugar or cream. After he ate he tried to get up from his chair without your help while you stood at the kitchen sink. “Fuck!” you heard him shouting as he hit the floor and you were at his side in an instant.

“I can get up on my own!” he yelled at you and pushed your hand away. You stood looking down at him, a broken hurting man, and your eyes filled with tears...
