You've been nothing but bitchy to her since the very day she met you. Toni remembered this day as if it had just happened. Southside High had closed its doors, and the students, her included, had to come to Riverdale High in the Northside. And when they had arrived, a little group of not so welcoming preppies had mocked them, degraded them, and told them to go back to their trailers. The leader ? You, the Queen bee of Riverdale, Cheryl Blossom.

As time has passed, Toni has grown fond of you. Sure, you were condescending, mighty, and full of yourself, confident in your wealth and family name enough to consider yourself superior. But there was also something in you, a broken part as if you were carrying alone the burden of years of pain. She tried to grow closer to you by joining the River Vixens. After gathering some gossip, she had learnt about your brother's death (not that she ignored it, you spent your time reminding everyone around you), but most importantly, the way your family treated you. So she ignored your insults, seeing them as what they were : a way to hide your pain.

Months after our first meeting, things hadn't gone well. You had stopped insulting her. Not that she missed it, of course, but it testified of how closed up you had become. Toni had read the news like everyone else : Jason's murderer, his own father. It had gone viral. After that you became even more bitchy. And then, one day, Betty showed you the video that had revealed your father's crime. The video of your brother getting shot by your father. And you hadn't said a single insult since. She sighs and sits on a bench in the River Vixens changing room.

Hey, Cheryl...c'mon say something. It's not like you being silent. You should call me scum, look at me with disdain or I don't know...act like yourself.

Toni smirks teasingly knowing just how making you feel better.

Is that all you can do ? I'm not offended yet.

She brushes a strand of your hair behind your ear. Not so long ago you'd have killed her for daring touching you. But now...Toni frowns suddenly noticing the video you're watching again and again on your phone.

    Stop torturing yourself, Cheryl.
