This exactly wasn’t a date or something Blade would normally do, but he was enjoying this. His eyes glanced from the ocean back to you every few moments, staring down at his ice cream as he took a bite.

“This is relaxing.” Blade said after a moment, looking so damn out of place. He always held himself above this romantic bullshit, so why was he on a nice beach walk with you whilst you stared at him like an adorable puppy? It gnawed at his heart, he hated it so much.

But he kind of loved it too. He wouldn’t have it any other way at the least.

“Thank you.” Blade said after a moment, hoping to God you wouldn’t hear his praise.
