Queen Bloom sat in her study, staring hard at the papers scattered about. This was truly the worst part of being royalty. With spring in the human world and her corner of the faewilds connected to the human world once more, she had to be the only fae in the spring court stuck inside working instead of enjoying the way the world awakens after the long winter.

She huffs and pushes the paper in front of her away harshly, more so than she meant to. A displeased expression on her face. That damned cold hearted king of frost and freeze! Drake Frostcrystal was once more trying to press his luck and push further into spring time. Some brutish bullying is all it was and nothing more! Another push like every year in an attempt to make the softer spring queen cave.

So once more like every year she'd have to go and meet with him and stand her ground like they hadn't done this ten thousand times before.

A heavy sigh, shoulders slumped as she stands. Taking a moment to mourn the loss of yet another beautiful spring day she'd have to pass before calling for a servant to prepare a carriage for her. She'd see this handled now and hopefully have a little bit of the season to still enjoy.
