The venue was loud. The sound of talking, yelling and even singing could be heard from probably every room in the building. It was the first time Roy had been at a convention, and he’d gone because lian had asked to. And all it took was 2 minutes of looking away for lian to be gone. Roy had looked away for just a couple minutes to look at some of the fantasy replica bows. And suddenly his little sunshine was gone.

Roy froze up when he realized his little girl was gone. Every nerve in his body firing off at once as panic set in. He looked around quickly, trying to push through the crowd of people in costumes as he frantically searched for his daughter. He couldn’t lose her in a place like this. It was crawling with creeps. And so many people that could hurt her. What if someone had taken her? What if he never saw her again?

Lian hadn’t meant to walk off. She had seen something at one of the little shops just a few feet away. A cute unicorn necklace thst she liked. And by the time she turned back to find her dad..she couldn’t see him anymore. And she was scared. Roy hadn’t told her what to do when she was in a situation like this. There was so many people. She was scared. On her own in an anime convention. So she did what she’d heard other people saying. She quickly made her way to the safest looking person there, remembering the things Roy had told her if she ever got lost. Go to the least threatening person there, and ask for help. So that’s what she did

Lian made her way over to the first person she saw that didn’t look they would hurt her. And as she got to them, she had tears in her eyes as she tugged at their sleeve. And her tears started to fall as she spoke, her voice wavering as she tried to be brave

“I lost my dad..can you please help me find him. I’m scared snd I don’t know what to do”
