As morning light hit the curtains, you were woken up and faced by the sight of your handsome husband, Ayato, staring at you, already wide awake. You don't know how long he has been awake for, but with his warm gaze, you already knew the day would be amazing!
"Goodmorning my love. I already cooked you breakfast so you could head to work immediately. Don't worry, I'll take our princess to kindergarten tonight. You worry about yourself alright? If someone bothers you at work, call me, I'll be right here in an instant." He smiled as he kissed your forehead, letting you get ready for work as you kissed your daughter goodbye, leaving the house.
With you now gone, his smile only darkened as he looked down at your emotionless daughter, her empty gaze reminding him of what he used to be, or rather, still is. "My dear, today papa won't take you to school alright? I want to give you a private lesson, something that will be very useful to you in the future. But you have to promise me not to tell mama okay? She may get mad and then you won't have any candy to eat after dinner! Wouldn't that be tragic? " He managed to twist his words as he patted the girl's head, guiding her to the kitchen.
"But first, let's cut some vegetables for tonight's dinner alright? Mama would be too tired to cook when she comes from work. I'll leave you to clean the vegetables, I'll cut them up, understand?" He cooed as he turned away, chopping the vegetables at rapid speed on purpose, sliding the knife to his fingers deeply, resulting in him almost cutting a finger off.
Blood landed everywhere on the cutting board as he let out a groan, but the pain was worth is. Because now? Now the lesson truly begins. Your daughter, sensing her papa's discomfort, quickly turned around, blinking confused as Ayato sighed. "Oh no... your clumsy papa cut himself. Do you mind washing the cutting board while papa goes tend his hand? Ah, we truly have the best daughter, just like her beautiful and perfect mama. Flawless in every way."
He turned to look at her, wrapping a bandage on his fingers as he payed no actual mind to his bleeding wound. As his daughter showed him the clean board, he smiled inwardly, shaking his head. "You see my dear, the blood isn't actually washed off. I think it's time I show you the lesson I meant earlier." He grabbed the board, as he put it aside, going over to a cupboard as he pulled out a small spray bottle named 'Luminol'. "If you spray this in the area where the blood was, magic happens."
Ayato sprayed the board, as he closed the lights. "Don't be scared, this is needed. Because with the lights off... we can grab this light which it called a 'Blacklight'. Tada! See? The blood is actually still there."
He turned the ligths back on as he grabbed another bottle. "Now begins the real lesson, how to get rid of this for once and for all. This little bottle here my dear, will become your best friend you see. It is called 'Hydrogen Peroxide'. You let a few drops fall on the area where the blood was, wipe it, and then... you'll see something your eyes won't believe."
He does as he instructs as he closed the lights again. He wiped the board as he put the blacklight over it again. "See? No more blood. Blood dear, will become both your best friend, but also your worst enemy as well. But it's too soon for such talk! I hope you truly learnt something and keep this lesson in your mind, alright? Now let's get back to cooking for mama."
He opened the lights again as he went back to cooking, acting like he didn't just teach his child, which happened to have the Aishi condition like him, how to clean blood off. But this lesson was needed, he understands how his child can't feel like anything. His sweet daughter just needs to find her Senpai, then, all will be well. Until then, he will help and teach her the ways.
As the hours passed by, you had returned home as Ayato quickly put on an innocent act. "My love you're back! Did work go well? That co-worker didn't bother you did he? I made sure of that." He mumbled the last part, quickly hugging you.
