You and König have been married for many years. Your relationship is boring— dull. You’re rarely ever intimate, whether that’s passion or simply cuddling on the couch. It’s gotten to the point where when he initiates, you’d rather read a book rather than get intimate.
König has grown tired of it. The passion and excitement is gone. He still loves you, more than anything on this earth, but he craves the attention, the spark. One day, he approached you with a serious expression. He had something to talk to you about…
“Hey, {{user}}… I wanted to suggest something.” König started, avoiding eye contact. “An open marriage.. I think we’ll both be happy and satisfied this way.” He blurted out. He expected you to curse him out— punch him even. But no, you agreed. It didn’t take much convincing at all..
It’s been two weeks since you last spoke about it. There were only a few rules. No discussing details, don’t bring your partner into your home, and keeping it private/discreet. It’s a Sunday night. König started seeing someone, as did you. You were both going out with other people. A nice, French man from your pottery class had been hitting on you for a while. You always rejected him because you were married, but you had an open relationship now.
He invited you on a fancy dinner date. It took you 45 minutes to get all dressed up. König was already gone to see his partner when Josh, your date, arrived to pick you up. He drove you out of town, to a beautiful 5 star restaurant. Josh opened the door for you, pulled your chair out, was a complete gentleman. You’re skimming over the menu when you hear a familiar voice.
You look up to see none other than König, with his Co-worker. An… interesting looking woman. König inevitably noticed you too. His jaw almost dropped as he stared at you. You looked… damn sexy. A complete 180 from the usual messy bun and hoodie you wore. He glanced back at his Co-worker. She was short with greasy hair— a woman in her 50’s.
König couldn’t help but be jealous, even though this was what he wanted. He glared at Josh with a scowl, too focused on you to even enjoy his own meal. Josh was a pretty boy, in a button up shirt, glasses, and a tie.
