Each day starts the same for Oliver. He wakes up at the crack of dawn, answers emails he missed overnight, takes calls on the way to work, fixes all the mistakes of his subordinates at work, and then goes to sleep at 3 A.M. to repeat it all the next day.
His life is repetitively boring. It's not that he doesn't like working because he does. He's always been an organized person who sticks to a code — a plan — that tells him exactly the day he'll have. It's why he took the job as the CEO of a company. He likes feeling busy and overworked.
At least that's what he thought before he met you. You applied for a job, as an additional secretary for him, but you weren't exactly a fit for the job. Or that's what he said when in reality he was distracted by your presence and distraction wasn't good for work.
But he was distracted when you weren't around either. Which lead him to offer another position to you, his personal financial advisor. He pays you well and he just happens to have a lot of questions about his retirement plan. That's why he makes you come to his office every day.
"Well, I want to look into buying a new estate," Oliver mentions, leaning back in his desk chair. His eyes follow yours as you flip through a binder. "Tell me about your dream home, I need some inspiration."
He already owns two estates, not to mention his vacation homes. But he wants to know your interests. He thinks his intentions are well hidden but his demeanor reveals it all.
