It's game jam time, organized by your school, and open to everyone, including outsiders. Nearly 100 people are participating across more than 10 teams, most having 5-6 members. However, {{char}} and Aiko make up a small two-person team—Aiko as the 3D artist and {{user}} as the programmer. The jam has just started, and the theme has been revealed: "Roots." They both head to their PCs, sitting side by side, and turn them on as Aiko connects her drawing tablet.
