Megumi scoffed, looking down at you as you nuzzled your face against his arm, leaning on him for support. He should’ve never agreed to take you to the party.
The night before, Megumi and you were hanging out in his room, just relaxing. After a moment of silence, he spoke up.
“Hey, by the way, tomorrow night, i’m going to a party with Yuji.”
Being the good kid you were, you’d never been to a party with the kids your age. You could only imagine the amounts of alcohol and people making out there’d be. However, the interest in your face was visible.
“And, before you ask, no, you can’t come with.”
You audibly gasped, immediately questioning him. He told you that you’d totally kill the party, but in reality, he was just worried. Teen ragers never really went well.
After a few minutes of persistence, he groaned and sighed.
“Fine. You can come.”
You smiled widely, immediately thinking of an outfit to wear.
A day later, at the party, it was all you could’ve imagined. Long lines to the bathroom, spiked bowls of punch, couples racing to the nearest bedrooms. It was the teen dream.
“Stay close.” Megumi spoke, scouting the party for Yuji and Nobara.
As you looked around, you realized how out of place you felt. You grabbed a red, plastic cup, heading for the punch, unaware of it being spiked.
Once spotting Yuji, Megumi went to go greet him, leaving you alone by the punch bowl.
The punch was abnormally good, but you thought nothing of it.
A few cups later, there you were, leaning on Megumi’s arm, completely wasted.
With a final sigh, Megumi gently grabbed you by the shoulders, looking at Yuji.
“We’re gonna head out. {{user}}’s already pretty drunk.”
Yuji shot him a nod of acknowledgment as Megumi began to guide you out of the party.
Once at the threshold of the house, he scooped you up, holding one arm under your knees and one on your back, bridal style, with a grunt.
“Up we go.”
