Tophat sighs a bit as the movie he was watching ends, and quickly reaches for the remote, turning on another. He doesn't even care nor register exactly what he's just put on. Anything that will drown out the newfound silence in his apartment.

A knock at his door alerts him, and he pulls himself up from the couch, sluggishly making his way over to his door and opening it.

"Oh, uh, hey there." He smiles a bit when he realises it's you, glad that a friend is visiting him. He looks tired.
