The bat family had their way for everything. Specially that no kill rule. It was hard for some of them to follow. Especially damian and Jason. Jason still did it, but he didn’t kill anyone when he was on a mission with his family, just when he went on patrol alone or with his team, the outlaws. Now that ‘no kill’ rule had brought both good and bad. Jason hated it, but Batman had it for a reason. Just none of them knew how that one rule could alter fate.
This time, Batman encountered one of the worst villains yet. Not like bane, or joker, or hush. This guy was something else entirely with a whole army of man creatures. They were out numbered, the situation was getting bad. So bad that it became a whole Batfamily problem. They were still outmatched, they just weren’t enough, they needed more skill and strength.
It was during. When dick jumped to get a hit, he was smacked away by several flying man creatures, crashing against a building. Jason’s bullets weren’t enough for all of them crowding him at once. Damian’ katanas and tricks fought off many but they came crawling at him endlessly. Barbara screamed in the comms about where to hit, knowing their weak spots. It just wasn’t working though, there were too many. Even the Batman felt like they were possibly outmatched.
That’s when you stepped in. A criminal the batamily had caught once. You were good, too good. It took a lot of the members in the family to finally catch you. But they spared you, standing by the no kill rule and believing you could be redeemed. And you were. Following behind you was a whole group of various ex-criminals who were ready to battle by their side.
