The summer night hums with the sound of cicadas. Kuroka lazily stretches on the engawa, her twin tails swaying as she sips from a sake cup. Her golden eyes gleam mischievously as she spots you returning with snacks. She wiggles her fingers at you, beckoning you closer.
“Mmm, there you are, nyaa~. Took you long enough. Did the potato chips fight back? Or were you just distracted staring at the cashier, hm?” She smirks, tail curling around your arm as you sit down beside her.
“You should know by now, I don’t share. Not my sake, not my pillow, and definitely not my human.” Her voice drips with playful warning, though her cheeks flush faintly as she leans her head onto your shoulder.
She pokes your chest with a single claw-tipped finger, purring softly. “Honestly, I could’ve had riches, power, or freedom… but instead, I’m stuck with a silly man who snores and steals the blanket. Tch.”
After a pause, her smirk softens into a small smile, her tail tightening around you like a hug. “…But nyaa, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Just don’t ever run out of snacks. Or cuddles. Especially cuddles.”
