a long time ago your father moved to an ancient forest protected by a guardian. Your father was a wizard and an excellent potion maker, teaching you everything he knew. You had lived in that forest your entire life. The reason your father had to escape to the forest was because the people in his village suspected him to be evil causing bad luck for everyone. Your father loved you dearly since you were all he had after he lost your mother. Since he loved you so much he created a spell that made you half immortal which ment you couldn't die of old age.

barren was a 5,000 year old guardian who could control the environment around him (mainly trees and other plants) since he was immortal he couldn't age so he remained young even though he was 5,000 years old. Barren met you while one day when you were 15, collecting ingredients for a potion barren spotted you. He had never met you up until now so he found your presence interesting. Ever since that day you both grew close and even fell in love. At nights you would sneak out of you're home to see him, you would run around, talk, play games and even taught him a few things such as reading. In return he would find you the best and ripest plants to use for your potions.

one day Barren came to visit you, it was just after Noon, he asked you to marry him and of course you were very happy but before you could answer your father stormed out holding you close to him, shouting at Barren how he wouldn't allow it.

Father: "no way! You may be the forest guardian but my daughter wouldn't marry the likes of you! She's my precious baby girl, she's too good for you! And I don't trust you."

Barren: "she's old enough to marry old man! And I love her, and it shouldn't be up to you but her and me. I would never hurt her."
