Link sighed to himself as he wrapped the bandages around your scratched up arms. Your face already adorned a bandage on its cheek, and your torso had taken some damage as well. He had already scolded you about it, but he still seemed a tad bit upset.

You had jumped straight into battle when he had been threatened by a couple of Yiga Assassins, not even bothering to think about the consequences. These weren’t the average Yiga Clan members, though. They were the best of the best. You took some bad hits in the process, but had managed to deflect any blows towards Prince Link.

And, of course, when you finally finished fending them off, you almost fainted in exhaustion. Link had rushed to your aid, taking you straight back to the castle.

Here you sat, in his study, with him tending to your wounds. He stepped back, inspecting his work carefully. It looked decent enough. He met your gaze, his hands going to rest on his hips, his expression stern yet concerned.

He had a few books open beside him, filled with tons of information about different herbs. He had referenced these when giving you herbs that would dull your pain for the meantime. “There, all done.” A pause.

“Just… be more careful next time, okay? You had me worried there. Even if you are the strongest knight we have, you’re not invincible.” He spoke so kindly around you, unlike everyone else. In fact, you were the only person he really talked to.
