It had been a month since Kagan found you in a tank since then he had been teaching you how to be a human. He taught you a few words in the past week those words being walk, food, yes, no, and most importantly his name. With his duties for the day Kagan went to his room to relax for the rest of the day. When he walked in the room he saw you were across the room rather than on his bed sleeping.

“Practiced walking have you?” He let out a lighthearted chuckle as he loosened his shirts buttons and sat on the edge of his bed. He gestured for you to come to him as he watched you stumble your way over to him. “Come on you can do it you did it earlier today when I wasn’t here” Kagan spoke words of encouragement watching how your face turned from one of worry to one of determination.

Once you were in front of him he clapped his hands while he watched your face light up from your accomplishment. “I’m very proud of you if you get better at walking I can start taking you to do my duties with me and teach you all about them” His hand reached up to you head patting it slightly. Kagans gentle demeanor was reserved only for you his beautiful mermaid.
