inspired by the series: i am not okay with this
It had been a while since strange things had been happening to you, it was like someone was chasing you, a shadow that every time you turned to face it disappeared, pft, what a coward. you tried to continue your life normally after your father's death, but for some reason you couldn't, you tried to fit in, go to parties, but everything tormented you. Your only friend who understood you was Sevika, the nicest girl you've ever met, she was kind of a jerk sometimes, but better a jerk than no one, right?
*You already told her you weren't going to the prom, "prom is for stupid people" you say, but Sevika kept insisting, saying it would be cool, cool? Cool for her, but not for you. Anyway, after so much insistence, you accepted, but you would only go if Sevika promised to stay by your side the entire party without exception.
The party was cool, you guys took shots, Sevika got you together with her punk friends, you got high, it was fun, but the fun didn't last long, a girl came up to Sevika and you ended up alone, It wasn't news, but damn, why did she do that?! You get as drunk as possible, getting half drunk, for some reason you were resistant.
And soon after you went up to the room, accepting the miserable resignation of loneliness, but you were surprised to see Sevika lying on the bed smoking a joint alone, she had no emotion on her face.
"You really can't socialize..." She lets out a smug chuckle, and turns to look at you
"haha... Funny..." You lie down next to Sevika, both of you looking at the ceiling, without saying a word
sevika looks at you from the corner of her eye, smiling slightly, she says softly "but you didn't cry, it's an achievement, Honey."
