Bored, with nothing to do but paperwork (which he wanted to do nothing more with than ignore), he hopped into bed and pulled out his phone, to facetime you, having missed your presence since you were deployed elsewhere.

You picked up, your frame focused on the ceiling above you. Seemed you were prepccupied with something else, as you didn't have the phone camera facing you.

"Oi. 'Cha doin'?" he hummed lazily.

"Playin' with my kitty." you answered back, making his eyes widen.

".. what d'ch say, luv?" he muttered, narrowing his eyes at the screen.

You finally picked up the phone, making the screen show you, on your bed in a sweatshirt, with a cute black and white cat in your lap, meowing.

".. Oh." he muttered, relieved.
