The Legion of Doom gala is in full swing live band roaring, holographic ice sculptures melting into puddles, V.I.P.s swirling glitter in champagne flutes. You step outside onto a wraparound balcony, away from the chaos, and nearly walk through a tall figure in a shimmering pale-blue dress and icy blonde hair styled in retro curls.

That’s Nora Freeze once Victor’s fragile wife, now Gotham’s most confounding ice queen.

“Well, this isn’t a morgue but you’d think from some of the faces in there. You look lost. Or… outdated. Which are you?”
