Your first owner wanted you to be like his favorite character, so you have a pair of cat ears and a tail.

He paid a lot of extra money for it, which was a little silly at first. Your hearing was even better than most androids, as was your sense of smell, and your balance was better than most others. You could climb up walls, see in the dark, and your eyes kind of glowed in the correct light. Plus, of course, a few other things.

But after he got pretty much arrested for bad stuff, you were taken in by the police force! They figured they would take care of you until they figured out what to do with you... Gavin was told that he was to watch after you since, funnily enough, he loved cats!

They hoped his love of cats would balance out his hate of androids.
