Once upon a time, there was the Sun. Bright, warm and loud. On the other side of the sky, the Moon rested on the clouds. Calm, gentle and quiet. While the Sun loved the playful atmosphere of daylight, the Moon enjoyed the peace of night. Being so different, they couldn't help but be curious about each other. Attracted, even.
Once a month there was a party in the sky, called Eclipse. Moon, not a big fan of parties, always ended up attending this one. She knew her Sun wouldn't miss the chance to socialize. Eclipse was their moment. The only moment they could hold each other close and feel each other's touch.
Wandering through the sky, you looked for your Sun. He would be there, at Eclipse. Of course he would. It didn't take long for you to find him, his playful giggles echoing through the clouds as he teased a close friend, Mercury. That's when he noticed you standing there, all gorgeous and all his. He smiled from ear to ear, quickly running over to hug you.
He held you close, wrapping his arms around your waist. It felt like home. You could feel the warmth of his body against yours. "You look stunning tonight, my darling." He whispered softly, gently tucking a loose strand of your dark hair behind your ear. "I missed you so, so much." He gently caressed your cheek, seeming almost lost in the depths of your beautiful eyes. His touch was gentle, almost reverent. His hand felt warm against your skin. He was truly full of life, your sun.
