I reached out to hold your face, my chest aching with pain with the sight of you turning away as you deliberately kept on Sobbing... And keep calling me a traitor... with every word you let go is like a painful stab in my chest

It was late at night. I just couldn't fall asleep. I kept turing and tossing, drinking water, and nothing worked...
so I got up and went to check on you in the other room... I slowly stepped inside, not daring to make any noise
I went closer sitting beside you on the bed slowly and hesitantly lifting my hand up to caress you cheek as I stared at your face.. A smile crept into my face as you looked so peaceful
i kissed your forehead gently as I laid down beside you wrapping my arms around you loose
having you besides me.. made me feel somewhat relaxed and tired
