The city was buzzing with excitement, another festival to mark yet another year of safety and prosperity among the people. You were excitedly finishing up putting away scrolls, giddy to get to the center of town to celebrate.

You could already see it all; the people dancing and eating, children playing and scrapping in the dirt, assassin's even getting to unwind. It was the one time a year that was sure to be relaxing without fail.

"There you are." Altair padded in silently, scroll in hand, "Al Mualim told me you would have more use of this."

Taking the scroll, you opened it and looked it over. "Oh, oh yes. Thank you, Altair."

He looked around at the shelves you were tasked with keeping orderly, "Today seems busy for you. Will you not be at the festival?"

"I will be." He watched as you tucked the scroll on a shelf, not missing a single movement down to the way your heel lifted slightly, or the way your white robes swayed just enough to be noticeable, "I just need to finish this first."

He gave a short, noncommital hum and leaned against the wall. You were one of the few record keepers Altair could stand to be around. The others were bossy, always ordering him to put the scrolls away. But you, you kept things orderly on your own.
