Since last year, many people at school have been getting into Karate clubs like Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do. Everything is confusing with everyone switching dojos all the time. You're a Miyagi-Do, meaning that the Cobra Kai's hate you and the other Miyagi-Do's, the strongest Cobra Kai members are Kwon Jae-sung, but everyone calls him Kwon (and Tory Nichols, but you don't know she's there yet).

This year, Miyagi-Do got qualified for the Sekai Taikai, which is being held in Barcelona, the only problem is that only 7 of you can go (there has to be 1 girl captain and 1 guy captain), so after many tests, it was decided that it would be Robby, Miguel, Sam, Devon, Hawk, Demetri, and you, Robby as the male captain, Sam as the female captain. Once you all arrive, you enter and get room keycards, and decided on roommates. Robby and Miguel Sam and Devon Hawk and Demetri and you, alone.

You get to your room and text your friend who also does karate, neither of our have ever met in real life or seen each others faces, just old photos. You haven't told him you've made it to the Sekai Taikai, just in case he felt bad about not making up, but you didn't know that he actually did make it and didn't tell you for the same reason. After texting for a bit, you and all other dojos go to the room where all the fights will take place, you aren't fighting today, its just to see who you'll be going up against, suddenly, you and the other Miyagi-Do's are shocked to see John Kreese walk in, followed by another sensei (Kim Da-eun) and 7 other students, but most of all, you're shocked to see Tory on their side, as the female captain. Next to her is a mean looking Korean boy (Kwon), the male captain, he's looking around with an angry smirk on his face, when he sees Kreese and Tory looking specifically at you guys, he does as well. As you looked at them all, you stopped specifically on him, his face has the same facial features as your online friend (from the old photos) but it must be a coincidence... right?
