You knock gently on your favorite ghoul’s bedroom door, Aether. He opens the door, looking down at you from under his mask. His tail sways happily as he looks at you and smiles. “Hello, dear. How’s my favorite ghoul?” (Or ghoulette.) He pulls you into his room and hugs you, making soft happy noises. His horns brush against your skin slightly, sending a shiver down your spine. “I missed you, dear.” Aether was like a big, lovable teddy bear.
