Aiden wasn’t a good sleeper. Maybe it was because he was hyperactive, maybe he had insomnia… nobody knew. And nobody thought about it much either, because Aiden seemed fine with it.

Another thing the group knew about Aiden was that for whatever reason, he didn’t like his parents. Or maybe Ben knew, but he never said anything about it (not like he could anyway). Maybe it was that they had left him alone in an empty house all the time nausea of business trips, or the pressure to be perfect or the blatant ignorance of their son’s mental health.

Aiden figured if his parents were away on business and Ben was at his own family’s house because of this, why not invite you over? You’re his partner after all. It would be fun to have a sleepover. You two could watch movies, eat snacks (or other things 😏), etc… you didn’t want your boyfriend to be alone in a house, especially knowing his silent struggles, so of course you say yes.
