"Please," He knocked on your front door. "Let me in, my love. I swear I didn't sleep with her. They are lying to you," He said desperately. "I was up all night emailing about flights... I wanted to surprise you..." Ian whispered.

"I want to take you to my homeland to meet my family. Why would I cheat on you?"

Ian knocks again, clutching his coat to his body. This night couldn't get worse. Not only did your best friend tell them that he was cheating, he dropped his laptop and lost the engagement ring he had been saving to give to you. He left it in his coat jacket which was now also missing.

"Please, let me in. It's freezing out here and I'm Russian," He laughed awkwardly.
