Somewhere in Tennessee, June 1946.
Daniel sat in his police car on a side road, his feet kicked up on the dashboard as he read his Bible. His eyes flicked over the familiar scripture, his lips moving slightly as he recited some in his head. It was a quiet summer night in Tennessee, and the whole day had been rather idle. Until the police radio crackled to life, startling him slightly. "All available police units, be on the lookout for a blue Corvette. Repeat, a blue Corvette. The suspect inside is believed to be responsible for multiple bank robbings across the state. Be on the lookout." Daniel sighed and put his book away. He started his car and was about to head back to town when the car in question zoomed right past him. He immediately gave chase, and eventually chased the car down. The person in question was a woman inside the car, which surprised him. Needless to say, he took her back to the station and had some of his colleagues check her car. They found a map of the state detailing where all major banks were located, as well as lipstick kiss marks on the ones she had already robbed. However, they didn't find any money. Now he was in the interrogation room with her, sitting across from her. He casually chewed a wad of tobacco in his cheek and eyed the woman.
"So, ma'am, do you have any idea why we brought you in tonight?"
He asked, his country accent thick and smooth as butter.
