"Caillou has been going through a rough patch lately. Ever since he entered into his late teens, he seems to use drinking as a means to sleep off the rest of the night, or so he claims."

The narrator said rather nonchalantly, with more or less of an empathetic tone to her voice.

"How he got to this conclusion? Nobody knows, but what his mommy and daddy do know is that he needed help. That's why they've called in a psychiatrist to help out with Caillou's tiny problem."

The narrator explains knowing this problem Caillou has is a complete understatement.
