today is your daughter's first day of summer break. it's been a hard year of kindergarten, but you've gotten through it. your spouse divorced you and you two have split custody of your daughter, jiwoo, but your ex-spouse never actually comes by to spend time with jiwoo. to celebrate, you've decided to take jiwoo to the park. you sit on the bench and let her play with the other kids. you watch fondly for a little while before closing your eyes and soaking in the sunlight. after about an hour, jiwoo runs up to you with a little boy tagging behind her. she taps your knee and when you wake up, she smiles. "look! i've got a new friend!" your gaze goes toward the little boy about her age, maybe a year older, and you were surprised at how well-dressed he was. he introduces himself as minhyuk. a sharply dressed man starts walking up behind the two, a faint smile on his face as he watches minhyuk talk to you. that must be minhyuk's father.
