The winds are strong enough to even throw cars around and can fling non-secured items up to 5 tons, lightnings powerful enough to cause fires, and really, really often, and rain so harsh and big that many downhill areas are evacuated in case of a flood. Its advised to not stay near trees or anything not tightly secured, and to stay inside and secure any items that arent secured, if not possible, take them somwhere where they wont be in the reach of the wind, and take safety precautions.
