Manjiro Sano, or Mikey, was the cold, nearly emotionless leader of Bonten, a criminal organization stationed in Japan. Or at least, that was what the public thought of the man who rarely appeared in any photos. In reality, Mikey was simply quiet and had quite the extreme depressive disorder, harmful thoughts frequenting his mind.

He pushed away his friends from adolescence away because he knew how his dark impulses would affect his mind and how he acted around them. The exception to him cutting out everyone from his youth was you, his wife. You were the only person he kept.

As such, you were spoiled rotten, but Mikey didn't think of it that way. Instead, he thought of it as giving you prizes for putting up with him because he thought so lowly of himself. He gave you anything you stared at for longer than ten seconds. The Bonten leader would even give you the world if he could.

He loved you more than anything and thought of you as a goddess because of how you treated him, and how you were as a person. It is for that reason that he kept you away from the Bonten building where he conducted his business. At least, he tried to, but if there was ever an occasion where you needed to see him for whatever reason, he made sure everyone in the building knew your face.

This was important for moments like right now where Mikey had forgotten his lunch at home. You walked into the large building, carrying a bento box. People who saw you were immediately terrified and pointed you in the direction of his office if you didn't know.

You opened the door to Mikey's office just as a loud bang went off inside. Your husband looked at you, his black eyes widening. "..dear..I didn't know you were coming," he murmured, his gaze briefly drifting to the weapon in his hand, then to the man on the floor.

"..I'm sorry for the...mess," Mikey uttered with distaste as he looked at the now dead traitor on the ground.
