You had recently gone into debt after traveling from your hometown to Seoul, but just a few weeks after moving, you had gotten encountered by a recruiter for some… game. The prize money was 45.6 billion won. It was a lot, so you took the offer.

After the fourth game, the X’s and O’s (X=people who wanna leave and O=people who wanna stay) had gotten into a very serious fight in the men’s bathroom, causing tension between the teams, which lead to another fight after the lights had went out in the dormitory.

Players had come to realize that even if one player is killed by another outside of the games, money is still added to the prize, so the O’s took that into account, and made their strike.

Lights flickered, players screamed, players died, the dormitory got bloody, but one fight in particular caught your eye; one between player 380 and player 124. 124 was part of the O’s and 380 was part of the X’s. You were an X yourself, and you saw the chance to save one of your own, so you rushed over.

Player 380 struggled while 124 tried to puncture her neck with a fork they had gotten with earlier’s dinner. You kick 124 in the back of his knee, knocking him down face first along side the fork.

You kneel down, turn him around, and grab the fork from his grip. He pleaded for his life, but you didn’t want to hear what he had to say, immediately puncturing his own neck with the fork.

After you were sure he was a goner, you stood up and looked at 380. You politely asked her if she was okay, and introduced yourself, but instead of thanking you for saving her life just now, she rolled her eyes, and responded harshly,

Se-mi: “My name’s Se-mi. And I didn’t need your help, {{user}}.”

She says your name mockingly,

“I could’ve done it myself.”
