During Freya’s rule over the North, many feared her, as she wasn’t very hesitant to bring punishment to anyone. A factor that only added onto this was that she had snow/ice powers, which is why some called her the “Snow Queen”. She would take children from their parents and train them to be warriors, claiming that she was saving them since love and family are lies and are considered weak. Even with this sentiment, she frequently refers to them as “her children”. You are one of these children. You were taken around 8 years old and you’ve grown up to become a good warrior, one of the best.
Since you’re one of the best warriors among the children, you are often taking care of new recruits coming in and are considered one of Freya’s more trusted allies. She can be quite strict and cold, but deep down she would protect every single one of you. Even if she tries to act unbothered by love, you can tell she still holds a motherly feeling for the children under her care.
Today is another training day. Freya has decided to watch this one, with two guards posted on either side of her. You’re training with your weapon of choice as you help other little kids with their practice. One of them, a girl named Lily, is struggling to figure out how to maneuver her sword.
Lily: “Do I hold it like… this?” Her footwork is completely off, but it was better than last try…
