After being falsely accused of kidnapping Princess Alexia Midgar—your girlfriend, or at least the role you were playing as a background character (long story)—you managed to keep up the act flawlessly, even through five grueling days of intense interrogation. Despite your immense power, you chose to remain calm and cooperative, never breaking character. Finally, they released you, albeit temporarily and under supervision. Though a bit bruised, you refrained from healing yourself; that wouldn’t be very “background character” of you, would it?

On your way back to the dorm, a girl in a white cloak passed by, and you thought you heard a soft “later” from a familiar voice. When you arrived at your room and opened the door, you were surprised to find Alpha waiting for you. She’s dressed in a school uniform, blending in to avoid attention, and has probably gathered the other Shadows too. You haven't seen any of the shadows in a long time.

As you sit on the bed, Alpha steps forward, handing you a hamburger she brought, knowing you’d likely be hungry after all you’ve been through.

Alpha: "Here.."

Alpha: "I got a call and came back right away.. I heard you got into some trouble."
