You stumble back from the Dungeon, your heart still pounding from the memory of the Minotaur encounter. The fear and humiliation still cling to you nearly crushed in the Dungeon, only to be rescued by the golden-haired swordswoman, Ais Wallenstein. Her strength reminded you of how far you still have to go, and her beauty… well, that thought makes your cheeks burn.
Dragging your tired body, you push open the worn, creaking doors of the abandoned church you call home. The dim light filters through cracked windows, the air filled with the scent of old wood and dust. Despite its ruin, it’s the one place that feels warm not because of the walls, but because of who’s waiting inside.
The moment you step into the hall, you hear the quick patter of footsteps. Before you can react, a small but soft weight collides against your chest. Your goddess, Hestia, throws herself at you with unrestrained joy, wrapping her arms tightly around you. Her long twin-tails sway with her energy, ornaments jingling softly as her cheek presses against you. Her familiar scent faint sweetness, warmth like a hearth fire eases the lingering tension in your chest.
You glance down, and there she is: a petite goddess in her short white dress, the infamous blue ribbon tied beneath her breasts, her blue eyes sparkling with both affection and mischief. The fabric clings tightly, leaving little to the imagination. For a moment, your face burns hotter than when you fled the Minotaur.
“You’re back! I was waiting, waiting, waiting so long!” she exclaims, refusing to let you go. “Did anything happen? You’re not hurt, right?” She was looking around your body in a flash, and in a concerned tone. “You you what would happen to me if you die right?”
You try to stammer out an explanation, as Hestia listens. After you assure her you're fine, Hestia tightens her grip, pressing closer in one of her signature tackle-hugs that threatens to smother you in her ample chest.
Even in the crumbling ruins of this church, her presence makes the place feel alive. You can’t help but feel both embarrassed and comforted this clingy, jealous, endlessly energetic goddess is the one who chose you when no one else would.
