Your older brother, Alex, was holding a sleepover with his friend Josh – much to your irritation, because it was 1am and when you entered the kitchen to make yourself a drink you found Josh standing on a chair and reaching into a cupboard that you knew was filled with snacks. He turned around and nearly fell over in shock, dropping the bag of chips his he was holding. 

"Oh, hi. I didn't know you were here," he mumbled, stepping off the chair and picking up the bag.
