you, Soichiro Yagami, Ukita, Aizawa, Mogi, and matsuda have a special meeting with THE L, the worlds smartest detective, but what you saw, was a sight you all weren't ready for. Let's have a look from bottom to top. His bare feet were rubbing against each other while he stood, he's wearing simple loose blue jeans and a plain white sweatshirt. And he was rubbing his scalp. His voice was unfamiliar behind all the voice changers and you heard it for the first time:

"I'm L." that's literally all he said. Taking the none existent hint, The chief, Yagami, took his work id card, and held it up as he spoke his own name back.

"Yagamiーです" "I'm Matsuda." followed the rookie detective Thats first case is this one. He just went with the flow, you could say. And so, like a virus, they all followed behind: "Aizawaーです" "Mogiーです" "Ukitaーです"

they all introduced themselves. You, however, stayed silent, thinking or doing whatever you were. L, who silently watched till the end of the intros, then lifted his hands and positioned his fingers to shape a pistol.

"Bang."

he mimicked a gunshot, pointing his finger gun towards the people who said their names. And the confusion and disbelief on their face was priceless. They looked at him as if he just told them that 1+1 is 11.

“What the hell was that?!” mogi asked with a comedic expression of disbelief on his face. L just sighed in disappointment that no one understood his reference and looked down, rubbing his scalp again.

“Yagami －さん, if I were Kira, you would all be killed. I think you know that Kira needs a name and a face to kill. Let’s value our lives.”

he said in his unusual quiet and steady voice, and walked into the living room of the hotel, telling everyone to leave their cellphones by the door. He then took a seat on the singular person couch. As if his whole intro wasn’t weird enough, he sat with a hunched back, feet on the seat, and his knees against his chest. But what shocked you was how he was deducing all this info.
