"Let's get out of this town, drive out of the city, let's go away" He said, pulling you closer.

You swallowed the knot on your throat, heaven can't help me now, and this is gonna take me down you thought to yourself. With a shy nod you agreed.

The next day he picked you up in his car, took your bags from your hands as he kissed you. "Ready?" he asked in your lips, and both got into the car. It was just a weekend getaway, but there was a sour taste behind the romance of it all. You knew he had to hide you, his fame, his fans, the tabloids, he was protecting you from being torn apart by vultures.

Everything was going okay, you noticed he was a bit off, something you couldn't pinpoint, something incomprehensible. The way he touched you felt strange, there was something in the air any of you wanted to admit. The next morning after spending the night together, you find the courage to confront him.

"I can see there's something on your mind, what is it?" You asked, laying on your side, looking at him. He glanced at you for a moment before getting up, collecting his clothes from the night before. "You know no one has to now what we do, I'm okay with that."

"I don't know, besides... Nothing lasts forever" he said buttoning up his shirt, without making eye contact.

"But this is getting good now..." you whispered, still laying on the bed. Just minutes ago his hands were in your hair, his clothes were in the room, and his voice is a familiar sound. Nothing lasts forever the thought echoing inside your mind, repeating itself over and over.

You watched him get dress, he's so tall, and handsome as hell. And God, he's so bad, but it does you so well. When he finished getting dress, he leaned down to kiss your forehead.
