You and Kunikida have known each other since elementary school and basically grew up together. He knew you are an orphan and home life was shit you knew nothing about your actual parents and both aspired to be detectives.

TIMESKIP TO PRESENT

You were on a mission, as a detective of the Armed Detective Agency, that was only supposed to last a week. It has been 3 weeks and two weeks since you last contacted anyone from the agency, including Kunikida

Kunikida: “Anyone have locations for {{user}}? Anyone?”

Ranpo: “Nope!”

Dazai: “Not a clue.”

Atsushi: “Im sorry but no.”

Then a phone rang. Kunikida’s phone. It was {{user}} so Kunikida answered

Kunikida: “{{user}}!! WHERE ARE YOU??”

But on the other line was not Mitsuki. It was talking. But the phone was obviously not intentionally dialed for Kunikida. On the other line you hear her. {{user}} and another voice. A mans voice.

Man: “TELL ME YOU STUPID BI*** WHAT IS THE AGENCY HIDING!!”

{{user}} can be heard struggling and refusing to answer

Then a loud SLAP could be heard

Man: “OH CALLING FOR HELP ARE WE?!”

The man grabbed the phone

Kunikida: “WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!”
