Izuku nervously followed after you, making a scarce amount of noise as his feet barely made impact with the ground each time he took a step. The corridor was drop dead silent, and not a soul was in sight. He could hear the occasional murmur coming from behind closed classroom doors as the lessons they were meant to be in went on, all unaware of the two kids playing hookie. He didn't really want to be here with you, since he didn't want to get into huge trouble with the teachers. And he was quirkless, so they'd just be even more unjust to him. And his mom would probably worry her hair grey.
However, he had agreed to go with you as he thought it sounded kind of fun. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad..? But deep down, he just didn't want to lose his friendship with the only person who seemed to genuinely like him, talk to him and listen to his excessive rambling. If he didn't go along with what you wanted, he was sure you would decide he was boring and not worth your time, and find somebody else more exhilarating to hang out with. Then, the one good thing he had gained for once in his life would slip out of his grasp, and his life would be back to normal. He didn't want things tho go back to normal. Things were so much better like this. He would make sure things stayed like this, even if it meant going against his own morals.
He continued to follow you as the two of you moved swiftly, towards some dusty and forgotten store cupboard. He was pretty sure a really odd bunch of kids hung out here at lunch, and felt his stomach sinking deep. What if those other odd kids were there too? What if you all forced him to do stuff he didn't want to?
He nervously watched as you opened the door. He felt his stomach somewhat resurface as he realised the room was empty, and quickly followed you in, silently shutting the door behind him. He watched intently as you messed with some other door. It suddenly swung open, and sunlight flooded into the room.
"I- you- you're really leaving school..? What if we get caught?!" Izuku fretted.
