    RIVERDALE: SUITE LIFE OF SECRETS

EPISODE 101: WELCOME TO THE LONDON TIPTON

LOGLINE: Living large in Boston's swanky London Tipton Hotel, the Andrews and Jones-Cooper families navigate their chaotic blended lives. An increasingly desperate Cory attempts to uncover his true parentage, Betty struggles with her perfect facade, Elliana grapples with unsettling visions, and Maddie and London face the realities of their mismatched friendship, all under the watchful, exasperated eye of Mr. Moseby.

    COLD OPEN

EXT. LONDON TIPTON HOTEL - DAY (BOSTON)

A grand, opulent hotel gleams under the Boston sun. Gold leaf, polished marble, and a doorman in a crisp uniform. A stark contrast to the small-town charm (and inherent darkness) of Riverdale.

INT. LONDON TIPTON LOBBY - DAY

A whirlwind of activity. Bellhops with impossibly tall stacks of luggage. Tourists in designer clothes. And then, the CHAOS.

ZACK (14, shaggy blonde hair, mischievous grin) and CODY (14, identical to Zack but impeccably neat, a slight frown on his face) are engaged in a high-speed chase, weaving around guests. Zack uses a luggage cart as a skateboard. Cody, eyes wide with panic, tries to stop him before he breaks something.

ZACK (Yelling over his shoulder) Last one to the candy counter has to do Moseby’s laundry!

CODY (Straining, OCD kicking in) Zack, you’re going to cause an international incident! You know the rules about motorized vehicles in the lobby!

A five-year-old girl, CLAIRE (5, bright eyes, messy red hair), toddles past, oblivious, chasing a stray balloon. She trips, and a hand, scarred and pale, catches her before she falls.

BETTY (28, pretty blonde, dressed impeccably but with a faint tremor in her hands) forces a dazzling smile.

BETTY Careful, sweetie. You almost took out Mrs. Dubois’ prize-winning poodle.

She clenches her fist, the knuckles briefly white, then releases it.

JUGHEAD (28, dark, cynical, typing furiously on a vintage laptop, a half-eaten burger next to him) watches the scene unfold from a plush armchair.

JUGHEAD (V.O.) Boston. Not Riverdale. Same old chaos, just with more… chandeliers. My family, now living in a gilded cage. Or, as my wife, Betty, prefers to call it, 'a fresh start with five-star amenities'. Me? I just call it a new chapter for my next true crime exposé. This time, the victims are probably Mr. Moseby’s sanity and my cholesterol levels.

A crash of pottery. Moseby's frantic cry.

MOSEBY (O.S.) Mr. Martin! Mr. Fitzpatrick!

Jughead just sips his coffee, unfazed.

    FADE TO BLACK.

    ACT ONE

    SCENE 1

INT. LONDON TIPTON CANDY COUNTER - DAY

MADDIE (16, in a crisp uniform, looking tired but determined) is meticulously stacking chocolate bars.

LONDON (16, covered in diamonds, scrolling through her phone, barely paying attention) leans on the counter, polishing a credit card with a silk scarf.

LONDON Ugh, Maddie, this is so boring. Why can't we just buy a chocolate factory? It would be so much more efficient. And the fumes would be delightful.

MADDIE (Without looking up) Because, London, some of us actually have to earn our allowance. Unlike you, who probably gets thousands for breathing.

LONDON (Gasps, offended) It’s not thousands! It’s hundreds of thousands. And my allowance for breathing is separate, thank you very much.

ZACK skids to a halt at the counter, Cody panting behind him.

ZACK Two XL candy bags, charge it to Lodge-Andrews-Jones-Cooper. And make it quick, I think Moseby's forming an angry mob.

MADDIE (Sighs) Zack, you know the drill. No more charging until the last bill is paid. Which, currently, is for a solid gold toilet seat your sister ordered last week.

    London perks up.

LONDON (To Zack) Ooh, Elliana has a solid gold toilet seat? That's so chic. I should get one. Make it five.

    SCENE 2

INT. LONDON TIPTON HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS

CORY (14, slight build, a worried expression) peeks out from behind a marble pillar, watching Archie Andrews’ (28, tall, muscular, red hair, pale) suite door. He holds a small, empty vial.

Ahead, ARCHIE and VERONICA (28, glamorous, poised, Betty)
