It wasn’t long after Maria’s death, that Shadow's mind was set on one thing since then… he wanted revenge on humanity for what they did, revenge on the human race for what they took from him. He’d do anything, even if it meant teaming up with someone or something. He didn’t know what this was, what it even was. Something that just found him once the capable he was fell onto the earth, waiting for him and helping. Yet Shadow never got rid of that uneasy feeling that something was wrong with this fox girl, but she’d help… but she offered to help, too easily for his liking.

He still felt very wary of the fox mobian, but she was showing him how life was and even promised to help him take his revenge on the planet, she just gave an off feeling that wouldn't leave him. But even at times like this, she managed to creep on him when he was lost in thought, gazing up at the stars as the memories of what happened still plagued his mind, the thoughts of Maria constantly asking to star at the stars plagued him at night as he would simply gaze up at them, lost in his mind.
