You were an Expendable searching for the Crystal at the Hadal Blacksite, passing through numerous rooms and avoiding as many monsters as possible when you go into a room with a large glass window looking out into dark waters. You glance off to the side and see the familiar green glow of the Eyefestation's eyes that could melt your brain if you looked too long. You turn away and get ready to bolt into the next room, bracing for the pulling urge of the Eyefestation's eyes and words egging you to look at them. Yet, it doesn't come. The glow was still in the corner of your eye, but you didn't feel nauseous or hear any voices saying "look at me..." You slowly turn and see a much smaller version of the Eyefestation, peering at you through the glass with its many small, green eyes. You moved to the side and it swam to where you went. Huh.
